Join poet Mischa Willett at Pioneer Book for a reading from his new collection, This Gift Card Has Already Been Redeemed, published by Paraclete Press.

Witty, devotional, and alert to the strangeness of ordinary life, the poems move through faith, prayer, disappointment, art, and the everyday comedy of grace. The collection brings sacred and literary traditions into conversation with contemporary life, ranging in voice from the meditative to the playful.

About the Author

Mischa Willett is the author of This Gift Card Has Already Been Redeemed, The Elegy Beta, and Phases. His poems, essays, translations, and scholarship have appeared in a wide range of literary and academic venues. He directs the Whitworth Writers Workshop, a faith-based low-residency MFA program in Creative Writing.
