Join poet Mischa Willett for the Spokane book-release celebration of This Gift Card Has Already Been Redeemed, his new collection of poems from Paraclete Press.

Set in the historic Bozarth Mansion, the evening will feature a reading from the new book, followed by conversation and audience Q+A. Wine will be served, and copies of This Gift Card Has Already Been Redeemed will be available for purchase and signing.

The new collection moves through the “perplexing mixed bag of our days”—heartbreak and elation, disappointment and consolation, art, prayer, love, traffic, beauty, and the occasional absurdity of being alive. Scott Cairns praises Willett’s “wit, wordplay, and wisdom,” and the “deep and grounding ison note of joy” that sounds throughout the poems.
