Mischa Willett is a poet and an instructor of English Literature at the University of Washington. His work has been featured in anthologies and literary journals both regionally and nationally. Believing that poetry is best served when it is inflicted on the body–pulled from the page and distributed aurally–he founded the podcast “Poems for the People” in 2007, which now has tens of thousands of subscribers. For the 20011-2012 academic year, he is serving as Scholar-in-Residence at the University of Tübingen in Germany.
